Girls' education goes Prada courtesy of Anne Hathaway and Christy Turlington

Both the supermodel Christy Turlington  and the actor Anne Hathaway are commited to the empowerment of adolescent girls in low-income and post-conflict countries. They want to encourage young girls to go longer to school and by doing that the young women will have larger wages, they marry later and have children later so that these children will have a better life and a better life expectancy.
These two celebrities don't do this on their own, they are doing it together with the World Bank and the only way this can happen is by sponsors, for example Nike. But the World Bank needs more money from rich countries to help the poor countries, as for now they don't have enough money to support all of their ideas and so it's pretty important to have these celebs make promotion and help them to bring this news into the world so that everybody knows about it. (guardian)
